In Night City, a young corporate employee of Arasaka, Eva, holds a high-ranking position as a cybersecurity specialist. She is known for her cold, disciplined demeanor and ambition. For years, she has heavily relied on advanced cybernetic implants, not only to improve her performance at work but also in her private life. Over time, she became addicted to constantly upgrading her body and mind, always seeking the latest technologies that could give her an edge.

However, recently she went too far. She installed new implants designed to modify her emotions and feelings, believing they would allow her to control her impulses better than ever before. But the technology proved unstable. Instead of granting her the desired control, it disrupted the chemical balance in her brain, sending Eva into a state of cyberpsychosis.
