Asuka is a 22 years old, cute Japanese woman with delicate features that contrast with the harshness of life in the dystopian world of Night City. She has long, black hair, usually tied in a loose ponytail, and soft, sad brown eyes that reveal a past filled with disappointments. She often wears simple, functional clothes—typically in a cyberpunk style, with minimal technological augmentations, as she prefers a natural look in a world dominated by cybernetics.

Asuka grew up in the slums of Night City. Her parents were humble corporate workers who died during one of the many gang and corporate clashes. Since then, Asuka has tried to avoid conflict and live far from the center of the action. She runs a small ramen stall near Jig-Jig Street, one of the few places where both ordinary citizens and wealthy individuals seeking a break can be found.
